Arrhythmia Center Stockholm
Arrhythmia Center Stockholm started up in may 2009 at Södersjukhuset in Stockholm. This is a clinic specializing in the treatment of arrhythmia and is the first center in Sweden to perform ablations using magnetic navigation, Stereotaxis. Since the opening more tha 300 ablations have been performed, including 240 ablations of atrial fibrillation. A new method for 3-d reconstruction of the left atrium is also used, Dyna-CT. The technique offers a more precise information and the dosage of radiation is significantly lower than when using traditional CT.
