Quality from various perspectives

In order to understand and convert the value of the healthcare provided, a degree of holistic measurability is required. Quality can be measured in a variety of ways; objectively, subjectively and from an efficiency perspective.

In order to objectively find out whether the services on offer are good, measurements are taken of clinical and medical results from a number of different aspects, e.g. the proportion of complications and infections. Patients' recovery and return to work is closely followed up.

Another important part is finding out about patients' opinion of the care they receive and the results they have enjoyed. This is why the subjective quality: treatment and care, participation and treatment result in relation to patient expectations is also measured. In this metric, Global Health Partner uses the same tools as many other care providers in order to make it easy to compare results, e.g. patient surveys.

It is also important to be able to show how resources are used. This is why efficiency is measured. Streamlining care is about improving quality and increasing patient satisfaction, i.e. getting more out of existing resources without losing any of the high quality (more bang for your buck).
